How to participate
Are you a new member joining any of our tumor boards?
Two forms need to be completed prior to participating:
1. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA)
2. Conflict of Disclosure Statement
New participants will be contacted by coordinator of tumor board to receive an overview of the HonorHealth tumor board conferences.
To submit cases or join a tumor board:
For the neuro tumor board: Contact Nichole Callahan at ncallahan@honorhealth.com.
For all other tumor boards: Contact Jeremy Torred at jtorred@honorhealth.com or tumorboard@honorhealth.com.
Case Submitter Guidelines to Submitting a case
- 3 Business Days: Cases need to be submitted no later than 3 business days prior to a tumor board date. If possible, a week in advance is preferred.
- Late Cases: Any last minute add on cases will need to be approved by the coordinator as well as the radiologist and the pathologist assigned to the conference. This will be determined on a case by case basis.
- Case Preparation: Coordinator of tumor board need reasonable time to obtain any outside radiology and pathology requested and provide assigned radiologist and pathologist ample time to receive imaging and biopsy.
- Radiology imaging and Pathology biopsy requests: In respect to assigned radiologist and pathologist time to prepare for cases in order to provide the tumor board a thorough analysis, please submit details on what is needed and only what is needed. Please do not submit any unnecessary imaging's or biopsies that ultimately may not be asked by the presenter of the case.
